About this product: Approximately 12 years ago, I found a tektronix digital oscilloscope that was being offered at a local college and which I wanted. It was being offered by a student enrolled in an electronic engineering curriculum program but he changed his mind and dropped out supposedly before the course started. He had already purchased the required course material which included the scope, the meter, a portable lab etc and was trying to get some of his investment back because the school wouldn't refund his purchase. I only wanted the scope because I already had many Fluke meters at my disposal but he insisted that this was a package deal only. So I purchased the lot and put this into my closet and forgot about it. I just now turned it on and it powers right up, but I will put in a fresh set of batteries before shipping. It comes in the box with the meter, probes, instructions manual, registration card, and a CD.
